    Overview

Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School is synonymous with excellence: the finest the private school world has to offer with an enriched and expanded curriculum to meet individual needs. Award winning math, science, art and technology programs highlight an interdisciplinary curriculum in a meaningful way. Expository writing is stressed, using a project based approach incorporating language arts, social studies and library skills. Our graduates attend secondary schools of their choice with many of our students opting for the specialized science, math and gifted high schools.

As a small school, we have the luxury of being able to emphasize the education of the individual. Highly trained faculty specialists collaborate with classroom teachers to customize a learning program that maximizes each child’s academic performance. Students learn how to use technology to access information, interpret data and facilitate learning. Students employ active learning strategies to become independent learners and gain the self-esteem required to ensure academic success.

Our Jewish education emphasizes the study of Torah, prayer, Prophets, Talmud, Jewish heritage and holiday celebrations. The goal of the Judaic Studies program is to teach children to love and be proud of their Jewish identity, be proficient in prayer and understand Jewish texts. Our children are taught to identify with and love the State of Israel, the Land of Israel, and its people. Judaic Studies is taught primarily in Hebrew and reinforced through music, drama, art and storytelling. Jewish values and heritage are essential components of Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School’s well-rounded education.
