    Athletics

    Students at Park East Day School participate in a variety of physical activities that challenge them both physically and intellectually. Led by our skilled physical education faculty, students learn valuable team-building skills as they strive to become their personal best. Students’ self-esteem grows as they learn by accepting challenges. Students enjoy learning and playing in our full-sized gymnasium. Life-long lessons in health, fitness, nutrition, and good sportsmanship round out our childrens' experiences.

     

    Park East Day School is a member of the Inter-Yeshiva and Day School League. Boys and girls participate in intramural basketball leagues. Park East Day School is part of the British Soccer League. Teams of all ages play in this co-ed league. The athletics curriculum is supplemented by our Israeli dance program, which highlights students’ cultural heritage and serves as valuable aerobics exercise.
